1.Check whether battery is inserted in to mobile properly.
2.check whether mobile is off/on.
3.Insert the sim card.
4.switch it on.
5.check all the numbers and characters are working properly by pressing them.
6.Add one user to u r phone book.
7.check the incoming call.
8.check the outgoing call.
9.send and receive sms for that mobile.
10.Remove the user from phone book see whether it is removed properly with name and number.
11.check whether network working fine.

12. when two party are in a call try sending a message to one of the mobile.It should be able to send and receive the sms .
13. Additional test case can be like - how much time it takes to charge the battery.

i know that there are two types of applicationa.one is web applications and the other is client-server application.web means online applications,and client server means we have to install in our systems to use it.now my question is ,yahoo messenger which we have to install in our system and have to work on line.this application comes under which type of application.
