If the developer is working for a bug reported from a tester
then the bug status is in Open ..

Once the tester founds any issue with the functionallity he
reports it to the concerned developer ,unless the developer
takes any action for the issue the issue is in open state
and such issues are called as open issues

to the developer.Developer starts working in it.Then that
issue is recognised as Open issue.

developer and if it in the process to fix by the developer
then we can call it as an open issue
