Hi All,
I have an H1-B visa interview on 8th OCt 2009.
I have completed 4 years in my present company
but i mispalced my Company Offer letter .
Could anyone please tell me is this letter is a mandatory
on going for visa stamping?

ask ur company for a duplicate offer letter or a experience
letter showing the current ctc. b confident and sincere.

1. Ask for the duplicate offer letter, any way they can
easily generate as per the details you give.
2. If they are not able to provide, ask for the experience
letter, in the subject line, its must to put as 'FOR VISA
PROCESSING/ INTERVIEW' as per your need.
3. Be prepared to answer well at this case as they should
ask some confusing questions, so be well prepared of the
things that actually your are missing, ie if no exp. letter
is there, be confident in telling that you are with this
company since <date-month-year>, joined as <role> and going
to <location> as the part of <cleint with project name> as
<role at onsite>. This may help you.
3. They wont accept any appraisal letters of Salary
statements as any one can generate as fake.

I've planned to carry the following documents in my H1B interveiw on sep-18th. HDFC receipt, visa Interview letter, I797, I129, Offer Letter, Client agreement doc, all original certificates, all company offer letter and relieving orders, payslip. Could anyone please let me know whether this is sufficient or i have to carry anyother doc's.

Hi, I am a software engineer. And in due time i will apply H1 visa. My concern over here is the spelling of my First name and lastname are different in SSC, Diploma and Engineering markesheets and certificates are different. I am not holding any US visa right now.I am applying for H1 B visa this year i e 2008.I am getting married in the month of July.If My H1B visa does not get approve then will it affect to get H4 visa later in the month of July?
My company processed the H1B visa for. Propably I will get the interview date by next month. I have 20 days overlap in one of my previous experience. i.e. Company A Service certificate shows 4 Jan 2005 to 25 Jun 2006, Company B shows 5 Jun 2006 to 16 Apr 2008. Whether it will leads to any rejection on my H1B? Please clarify. Thanks Suresh

I have got the approval on my H1B visa from a US company in 2010, and currently my Indian company is filing L1B petition. I didn't attend the H1B visa until now. What could be the H1B status, even after I receive my L1B visa. Will have H1B petition valid, and so I can go for interview whenever I wish ? Please let me know ASAP.
