I was selected in h1b visa for 2008-2009. I got papers also. i need to go for stamping to mumbai in this month or next month. what type of questions can i expect there please reply me. and also any thing difficult will be faced there?

My H1b petition got approved in July 2008.So far I havn't gone for the Consulate Interview.My employer is asking me to attend in March.Is it right time to go to Consulate Interview in March sometime, looking at the recession? I will be going to chennai for the Interview.Has anyone been recently to Chennai consulate? Eagerly looking for all inputs.. Thanks in advance

I got H1B approval in 2009 quota. But I would like to give Visa interview in Jan 2011. So is it ok to give the interview after almost 1 year? If no, then what is the maximum time they allow for appearing the VISA interview after H1B approval?

Hi, I have H1b approval for 2008 quota; I have not gone for Visa interview so far. I am planning to go for an interview in January 2009. Will there be any issue if I delay my interview schedule as US economy is going down steadily.

Hi Guys Situation :- I am working in a Company X , and applied for H1 from a different company Y , and good part is that i have got through the H1, means i got the H1 visa stamped and it is valid till 2011 , Now my company X wants me to apply for B1 , so will the new applied B1 will effect the H1 ? Will the US consulate cancel the H1 to give the B1 ? As i am planning to go to US @ the End of this year i can leave the current employer , who is asking me to apply for B1 , Please reply !!
