A cyclic organic compound containing all carbons in ring
formation is referred as a carbocyclic compounds
If at least one atom other than carbon, forms a part of ring
system then it is disgnated as a heterocyclic compound
like O,N,S,Se,Te,P,As Si,Ge VALENCIES of these atoms is
2,3,2,2,2,3,3,4,4 respectively.

carbon atom lacking of lone pair of electrons and
electronegativity when compars to others like N,s&o

Answer / ch.appala naidu
Actually N,O,S,P etc.have lone pair or pair of electrons
present on their atoms so these atoms connected to carbon &
hydrogen contained cyclic rings then they are said to be
hetero cyclic rings.
