when a businessman deposit cash in bank or when withdraw
cash form bank than this entry go both ledger "cash ledger"
and "Bank Ledger".
If businessman deposit cash in the bank than cash ledger
will credit(Cr.) and Bank ledger will debit (Dr.). and
if businessman withdraw cash from bank than cash ledger will
Debit(Dr.) and bank ledger is Credit(Cr.) in Contra Voucher
contra entry (shortcut key press-F4 ) in tally software and
entre this entry in this contra voucher.

For example, cash of Rs. 5,000 is deposited into a bank. In
this transaction both bank account and cash account are
involved and they will be recorded on both sides of Double
Column cash book i.e. on the debit side in bank column and
on the credit side in cash column.
