could u please tell us from where you get to know that in
NIC in 03 years you will definately get promoted?

and Shailesh i am totally agree with you. its totally
depend to person to person, some of persons to whom i know,
they were not happy in NIC and now they are very good
working outside at a very good package.

and offcourse we get all facilities in private sector like
medical etc so please guys do not spread out rumours here(
a request only).

so lets wait for the offer letter.

Thanks for giving us the exact picture of Pivate industy.
actually here our aim is not to hurt anybody, we all are
just sharing our knowledge/information so that we could
take right decesion over the right time.Tats ALL...

i am working already with Govt sector and now New Pension
scheme is applied with all new Govt employee so no double
PF is now.anyway its for all so no need of worry.

Good to hear ....Really we are discussing here to take some
good decision to join NIC or not.....

in infosys as i know , pepole geting recognisition easily
and based on your client feedback you will get onsite(if
onsite client is there). some of my friends in infi are
doing good in one year.I don't want to comment on one's
performance but i am sure leaving comapny like tcs and infi
to join NIC will be a tough decision. As in my case i am
totaly dependent on joining Place ....By the way where you
are working and what is the permanent address you filled at
the time of interview...they will give joining near to your
native/temprorary address.

When you are working in Govt org....then why you are
leaving from there ...is there any major diffrence in
salary? ....Comapre your present salary with the NIC ..NIC
is not going to pay more then 25k in your hand if you get
your joining in Metro city and it will be near to 22k if
city is non-metro.



As i talked with NIC Personal Dept. officer on 011-24305318
they said joining will come near to 15th of August. that's
the latest update i have....Kindally update us if any of us
have any relevent information....

the pay was mentioned in the advt. itself. Pay Band 2. In
Defence (Technical Engg. posts) Pay Band 3 directly. also
pay band 3 at entry level (for Engineers) in R&D org like
DRDO,CSIR,ISRO.

Hi all,
I've been going through this thread for quit some time
and it's been quit useful for me for the lots of information
I could have from here about NIC recruitment.
But today its been a real concern that I came across one
person who said he was selected in NIC 2008 exams but yet to
recieve a joining letter. Infact after selection he sent
back madical and police report also. But there after there
was no communication from NIC.
So guys anyone having any genuine information about how
much we can trust on NICs selection please let me know.
Being a selected candidate its time to make some decision.
So please help guys...

I had also seen in some posts that NIC delays the joining
orders by months...in some forum a guy had given some post
mentioning that he was selected in 2008 and is still
waiting though the post was not scientific officer ..

Hi guys, I want to know about educational criteria about sbi clerical recruitment. In interview letter they have given that 12th 60%and above and Graduation 40% and above. What is making me trouble is "and" instead of "or".
