I have got some info reg NIC P I Pattern.Please share ur
info like the same if u have any :)
Congratulations to all the candidates selected for PI.
As per Last years Interview Process, some facts are:
1. Only 25-30 Candidates are called each day.
2. Around 15-35 Minute interview will be there.
3. Interview panel have 5-6 Interviewer
4. They ask Basic Questions.
5. If you have any Research Paper or publication emphasis
over that and mention it.
6. They ask for your 2 favorite subject.
7. Normally DO NOT ask any technical question for long
time, HR is main.
8. If you are working they why u want to switch.
9. Prepare basic web technology and Protocols.
10. Make some research about NIC and its work such as
National Data maintainable, Research, e-Governance and web
portal management.
11. Go through website design basics.
12. Prepare for OS, Networking, Core Java, Web technology.
13. Be confidence.
14. GOOD LUCK....FOR INTERVIEW.

ya, wat i heard was also similar, they may send call
letters to the ppl who ae actually selected. and want to
know when will they actually anounce the results. And one
more fact why only NIC scientists has been offered salaries
in pb-2 scales where rest all the scientific officers were
offerd pb-3 scales,and if we get through when will our
payscales be revised

Hello friends,
This is Nagarjuna from Hyderabad.I 've attended PI on 30th
APRIL 2009.I am also awaiting for NIC PI Results.I would
like to share someinfo regarding NIC PI results to my knowledge.
This is just my known info & not the final one...
I have got information from one of my friend's friend who is
already working in NIC as sceintific offiser-SB, that they
would not publish results in the site.They will send Offer
of Appointment to those personnel qualified & selected as
Sceientific Officer through POSTAL to their permenant
address provided.They will inform the date & venue of
joining.And this will be the last intimation.
But when I queried the NIC person,they said that the results
will posted in the same site.
I am in confusion whom to believe..So if anyone get any type
of intimation pls share with us..Thnx & all the best...

I had PI on 4th april..they just asked about my final year project as i am fresher. for experienced they r asking their current project.

is there any body who cleared interview and got
appointment..
if there are ppl plz let us know so that we can know the
results, and there won't be any declaration of results who
ever gets through will have individual calls. Any way
according to NIC office ppl the results should be out by
now .. hope for the best

hey Guys..
do not worry about result. it will come in first week of
july so be patient till then.
and do not go for rubbish thing...all selections are fair
and no seat is sold out. there are some some internal
promotion excersie thats why result is getting late.

Today I called NIC and they are saying result will be come
in mid july and posted on website.And may be come end of
July.When I asked that previously u told me that result
will be come on end of June..Then he told they r doing some
internal posting...processing..
This is really frustrating...

one more thing is that....as the advertisement says..this
post is for five years and likely to be continued....i
think its ok to join for five years....once the term is
completed we can walk out of the company if its not
satisfying........at the current situation it is atleaset
offering protection for five years...where other companies
like IBM,SATYAM,WIPRO and others are firing with a notice
of not more then 15 days....we will be safe for five
years......and the package is also not that bad...u will
get a max of 20k to 25k in pvt firms....whereas in NIC they
are offering 26k in A class cities ( remember the post are
for both freshers and experieced and they are treating both
at same level and all people will get the same package...so
think as a fresher....26k is a good package for a
fresher).....
i also cheked with few guys working in
IBM,INFY,WIPRO,SATYAM,CTS and TCS(all top firms) and all
getting 23k to 24k on an avg after completing 2 yrs of
service.....there may be a few deviations from this...but
majority of the candidates are getting this......so think
once again....if u can get some very good amount then what
NIC is offering then its worth to take risk....else its
better to join this....after 5 yrs the situation can b in
any of these points i mentioned below :
case 1 :
Posts not continued and u liked the post - You can come out
to the market and search for some other job.( remember u
have work experience of 5 years in a prestigeous govt
organisation so u will not face any difficulties in getting
a job).
Case 2:
Posts not continued and u not satisfied - There is no
question here...jump to open mkt and find other....
Case 3:
Posts continued and u also satisfied - Well and good...no
questions here also.....continue and njoy....
Case 4:
Posts continued and u not satisfied - Think of voluntery
retirement....all govt institutes will provide this
facility...just take voulentry and come to open mkt
again.....
In any of the above cases u have a positive point that u
worked for a firm which is an arm of ministry of IT,which
provides facilities to all government bodies including the
presidents office having a history of 4 decades as a
scientific officer.....

Hi i am vijaya from chennai. today 15th sep, i attended interview in syndicate bank for probationary officers. i wanna share my experience with u all those who are going to attend interview in forthcoming dates. 1.what is export and import in the term TRADE? 2.what is mutual fund? 3.what is debenture holders, shareholders and stake holders? 4.what is IMF? 5.tell about yourself ie, education,experience etc.. 6.are u willing to relocate? in case north india and rural areas. 7.they see basically your confidence level and communication skills thet how well you are communicating with them. since i am commerce n computer science student.. so they asked in commerce.. so people from commerce!!! pl prepare well n also know more about normal banking functions, gk, current affairs and all...
