A macro is a series of pre-recorded instructions or actions within Excel that can be reused to perform repetitive tasks more efficiently. To create and use macros, follow these steps:n
1. Enable the Developer tab in Excel by going to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
2. Click on Developer in the list of options on the right side, and then check the box for 'Developer' in the new section that appears.
3. In the Developer tab, click on Visual Basic to open the VBA Editor.
4. In the VBA Editor, you can write your own macro code or record a series of actions by pressing Alt + F11 and then clicking on 'Record Macro' in the Insert menu.
5. Save your macro by clicking File > Save.
