voltage in winding increase double, due to this effect flux
density increases to doubleit causs high no load losses and
may cause to distroy the core

emf e=4.44BAfn volts
if the frequency is increased induced emf also increased so
the induced emf damages the insulation of the winding it
will leads to short ckt

as per EMF equation of the trasformer frequency is directly
proportional to winding voltage. if we double the frequency
the sinusoidal root mean winf=ding voltage also doubled.
E=4.44 * f*b*n*a*b

Follwing series of action will occur when 100Hz power is
applied to 50Hz transformer.
1) Core gets saturated
2) No,load losses increases and Temp. too goes up
3) Output voltage cannot be predicted as the core is
totally saturated.
4) Heating continous and gradually damages the core
5) This is followed by heating up of the oil and thus
cooling temperature goes down sharply.

thye transformer iron losses will increase 4times as iron
losses is a function of the square of the frequency. As a
result of increased Iron losses temperature will shoot up.

when frequency increases , Humming sound of transformer increases becz magnetic core has to magnetise and demagnetize at a rate double of its frequency. voltage is the amplitude of the sinusoidal wave(AC),so will not vary with frequency

Answer / a.kossay
if we operate the transformer at 100 hz the magnetic flux
inside the core will decrease sharply making the output
voltage decrease
