I Installed loadrunner in my machine(personal PC)
successfully. But when i am recording the script is not
recording for the actions what i am executing. Can anyone
explain what might be the problem for not recording the
script.

Maybe the problem is come from the IE.
Firsy time when I try to recording script of web
application. LoadRunner is not record the action for me
too. The cause is from I use IE8.0 and the LoadRunner on my
machine is not support IE8.0 (LoadRunner9.10). So I change
internet to version7. And the LoadRunner can work normally.

check the protocol type wheather u selcecting the right for
u application.
if u selected right means ,the events must fire while
recording the script.
otherwise ur selected protocol is wrong

check if data execution prevention setting is off!!!
follow these steps to turn off the DEP:
right click my computer > properties > advanced >
performance settings > Data execution prevention.

First i need to ask one question,which versiion of
loadrunner u r using,suppose u r using 9.5 version then
make sure that IE browser should be 7.0. if u have other
than 7.0 u can remove and u can configre IE 7.0 browser.
then record it's working fine.

do one thing close your application browser and loadrunner
too. Then open the loadrunner tool first and then open the
application on which u r going to record.

use "elistara" for remove, and try again.
