Now it appears to be more than enough... I have learn entire QTP, I did whatever I could do but still facing lots of problem and those problems could be removed only after working in professional atmosphere. But still unable to expose myself as professionaly. It is becoming panic, It has been two years I am in manual testing and looking for the change but all the recruiters ask for QTP, but my problem is I don't have working experience with QTP. Kindly suggest me I really need effective suggestions. I dont have more caliber to work with present organization cause of salary reasons...boo.. hooo...hooo. I have faced one issues while doing test in QTP. I have described the scenario below. 1. I have to test web application.In that i want to give input of drop down values in the application. 2. Suppose Drop down has 5 value "A,B,C,D,E".I would like to give value from data table of QTP. 3. I have changed the drop down value as variable in Keyword view and given values in data table "A,B,C,D,E" as one below one. 4. While i am running the script it could not identify the drop down value which is in Data Table.It shows message. How to make value identify by QTP?

Hello, I am learning QTP. I have recorded test for Login page, i have also inserted checkpoint for Email field & when I run test it passed. But when i tried to run test by inserting 'Adding Parameter Values to a Data Table' for email & password field, it pass the first value in both the fields but after that when test run for second parameter values it displays 'Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site, Operation aborted' & when i analyze test result it displays run time error 'Object disable'. I have also cleared all the history from IE but it is not working. Please help me. Thank you.

I am using DataTable.ImportSheet method to import the data from an excel sheet to the Runtime DataTable of QTP. here is my piece of code DataTable.import("c:\DataSheet.xls","Members","Members") The first row headings of Members sheet of DataSheet.xls and Members sheet of QTp are matched. but the QTP is taking very long time(approximately half an hour) to import the data into runtime datatable even though the DataSheet.xls has one or two rows in it. Please let me know why this is happening and is there any alternative for impoting the data into runtime datatable of qtp ?
