4. test the apt ange of the pen with paper for writing
confort level while holding the pen

2. volume of contents of bottle
3. other properties of bottle

For Ball Pen:
1)check the height of the pen
2)check the colour of the pen.
3)check weather cap is available or not.
4)if available check it is cominng out or not
5)check weather cap is closing or not
6)check weather pen is ball point or ink pen
7)check weather pen is writing only on paper.
8)check weather pen writing glass(it should nor write).
9)put in packet it should fit.
10)check weather other refils are insertable or not.
11)drop the pen from ground from minimum distance it should
not break.
For water bottle:
1)check height of the bottle
2)check the company of the bottle.
3)if it is new check the cap is ceild or not
4)check the volume of the bottle.
5)check the shape of the bottle
6)check the cap is opened or not
7)check the cap closing or not.
8)check weather it is comfortable for drinking or not.
9)chek weather it is standing on the table or not.

u write test cases of the any object like pen,water
bottle...etc you need to specifications of objects.
with out specifications we can not write the testcases.
for ex:u take Pen Object
Test cases are:
1)Look and Feel :width,height,color,design etc.
2)performence:we need to check that object It is writting
or not (performence)
3)usability:what is the use of this object
4)Rigidity:strong ness of the object.
these things we can follow to write test cases of the object

do we write test cases with out requirements?.
Yes..But we can write the universal generic test cases to check purpose of object and main functionalities are working or not.
Hello People realize one thing here..
For any object in the world we can write "Universal Generic( Test cases"(At least we can write test cases for Common requirements to check the purpose of the object is working fine or not. even we can check by writing test cases based on general mandatory functionalities are working or not..even with out having the requirements..if at all we have customer requirements then we can write based on that exactly.
Then how can they ask us in interview to write cases for any thing?
As much as possible we can write the universal generic test cases and then still the interviewer is not satisfied..then we can ask him like if you provide me requirements then based on that i can write we can tell like this..
But one thing we should remember here is :
" When ever we are writing test case means there should be minimum chance of identify the defect". based on this we will write the test cases....

testcase for water bottle:
verify it is one litre bottle or two litre bottle
verify bottle color is good or not
verify any hole or broken is thr in bottle
verify the cap is thr or not
verify the shape of the bottle
verify the quality of material to be used or not
