Hi,

The test cases are reviewed by the Test Lead or Senior Test
Engineer who has a good knowledge of the project
requirements or in case of product testing good hold on the
product behavior.

Well in a test case review doc following are mentioned in
general.

1. Project Name and Project Managers Name
2. Test Case Doc name
2. Date of Review
3. Reviewer's Name
4. Test engineer name(Author's Name)
5. Missing Test cases(Test cases which need to be added)
6. Missing test scnerios to be included.
7. Testcases which are not required and should be removed
8. Faults in Test case doc Formating, wrong language or
grammer mistakes etc

Note: The review process and contents differs from company
to company but above are the basic things found in review
doc.

There isn't any specific template for Test case review.
Reviews are done by QA Lead. Test case review contains
following fields:
1. Date of Review
2. Project ID
3. Reviewer Name
4. Reviewee Name
5. Review / Inspection Issues
6. No. of Major issues (if found)
7. No. of Minor issues (if found)
8. No. of GUI issues (if found)
9. No. of critical issues
10. Signature of the Reviewer & Reviewee

which defect matrix or what defect matrix would you look at in ascertain the quality of product? And give some explanation about defect matrix. Its urgent.
