A Tester should always have a negative attitude towards the
s/w. an attitude to challenge the developers work, only
then u can find even the minute errors in a s/w. So the
AIM, Ambition, Goal is one and the same "Find Erros".
Always feel like the end user while testing coz u r not
testing for ur sake, ur testing for the end user.
I think this shld answer ur question.

Hi Sanjay,
I think u should properly read Priyan's ques. She ask about
tester Aim not Tester's qulity. So tester should keep aim to
provide more relible and quality software to customer and
that is within deadline.

Hi Priyan,
I too faced this question in my interview. But it is asked a
little differently. Where you will be in 2 years and years.
My answer is 2 years I want to be a Quality Manager and in 5
years I want to become a Project Manager. When asked about
my ambition or aim in life, then my answer is as a test
engineer, in all the projects I work with should be released
with very high quality.

The tester should consider both +ve and -ve scenarios. The
tester should think from end-users point of view. But
remember that each user is different from one another.so you
have to view the application from different angles.
