Hi Sham,

provide more relible and quality software to customer not
only a testers goal its everyones goal who is involved in
the project, infact its a project goal.

I think "provide more relible and quality software to
customer" is too vague. we have to be specific when
defining a testers goal.

As a tester, one's aim is to see if the product under test
meets the req. specifications as well as end user's &
customer's expectations in the given budget and time frame.

Obviously , the budgets and time are very limited resources
and are never enough. So the tester's aim/goal/ambition is
to identify those defects that can cause significant
customer dissatisfaction, in a consistent and predictable
manner.
