It is better to select ur interesting specialization in 3rd
year of ur engineering. But dont strict to one subject
learn all other subjects also otherwise it is very
difficult when comes to application part. CAD/CAM is very
good future so u can learn CATIA or any other CAD/CAM
course. Understand the practical application during
industrial visit. My suggestion is try select ur project
related to ur area of specialization and interest so that u
will be able to spend more time on that.

Aashish first decide for yourself in which career field you
want to go. If you want to pursue your career in designing
fields or Process Engg. then CATIA is useful otherwise it
doesnt make any sense. I suggest you to wait for another
one year so that you can understand you subjects more
thoroughly and then go for it. Training visit to industry
any time is a good option but make sure go get the maximum
of knowledge from the organisation in terms of technical
and managemnent things.
