Hello all, in BO XI R2, the row level and object level
security can be done in the universe itself.

I bo the security levels are applied to roe level and
coloumn level.Both have been handled by the administrator
in supervisor tool (or) in designer tool.these two levels
of securities are used to restrict the data at roe level or
coloumn level in case of particular user or user group.

Row level Security ?
The measure of specifying which rows a user can retrieve
based on a column of data or combination of columns is
called row level security.

Can we edit BOMain.Key file to connect with other repository with same supervisor user name and password. But Database is different.

Regarding Hyperlinking in Business Objects. We have a few reports in QA environment where a number of hyperlinks are employed using OpenDoc function.In some of the reports,hyperlink is used to move to another tab within the same report.The formula used include "DocID" and ReportName="tab name".This works fine but now,for the PROD move,this will not work as the Doc Ids are subject to change. Is there a way to overcome this?Without DocID,how will move to a particular tab? Thanks in advance
