x+(x-600)+(x-900)=3000 Here is the equation
x=1500 A's investment
B's investment is 1500-600=900
that is 30%
so 30% of 886 => (30*886)/100=265.8

Answer / vijay gawalkar
Given, A+B+C= 3000,
B=A-600 -> A= B+600
C=B-300,
Now, A+B+C= 3000,
-> B+600+B+B-300=3000
-> 3B+300=2700,
-> B=900,
After substituting B,A=1500, C=600
Profit sharing ratio of A,B and C is 1500:900:300.
886 X 900
Share of profit of B = ------------ = 265.80
3000

Total = 3000
Equation
A+B+C= 3000
x+x-600+x-900=3000)
3x-1500=3000
x= 1500
AFTER SHRTING
A 5
B 3
C 2
Total=10
for A= 5/10*886=443

Answer / yamuna mathew
let A=x
B=x-600
C=x-600-300=x-900
x+x-600+x-900=3000
x=1500(A)
B=900
c=600
ie 5:3:2
so profit sharing is
886*3/10
265.80
