On a new Ab Initio project, my initial points and key steps would be as follows:
1. Understand the project requirements and deliverables.
2. Analyze the data sources and target systems.
3. Design the overall architecture and flow of the data processing logic.
4. Develop and test transformers, SQL scripts, and other necessary objects.
5. Integrate and test the solution end-to-end.
6. Deploy and monitor the solution in production.
