The fragrances of many plants arises from volatile c10 and
c15 terpenes.Important monoterpenes are
MYRCENE(C10H16),GERANIOL(C10H18O),LIMONENE(C10H16),MENTHOL(C10H20O).
ALL THESE ARE USED AS PERFUMES.
