what is the opposing rolling circle model of DNa?

what is the opposing rolling circle model of DNa?..

Answer / ravindra

In some bacteria during dna replication theta shaped
intermediates of dna are observed.
to explain this observation opposing rolling circle model
was proposed.
it is essentially the replication of two circles together in
opposite direction.
besides growth one strand of circle in a rolling circle
model,a second nuclease cut open other strand also.
oh end of strand grows and strand with phosphate end is
displaced as another tail.
this tail is complementary to tail of other circle and both
join together by hydrogen bonds and gives rise to theta
shaped structure.
