Why is germanium more temperature dependent than silicon?
Answer / Arvind Kumar Gupta
Germanium is more temperature-dependent than silicon because it has a smaller bandgap and higher mobility of carriers. As a result, germanium semiconductors are more sensitive to changes in temperature, which can lead to greater variations in their electrical properties.
