Chemicaly cement is Cao. Hence the major ingadient used is
lime stone(almost 80-90%). Lime stone & clays are heated
gradualy to 1500 deg.C to dehydrate first and then it gets
calcined at the peack temp.At this temp. due to fusion lime
converts in CLINKERs or cement in hard stone form.
Subsiquently it is cooled down.Clinkers are further grind
with other grinding aids to very fine powder form.This
finished good is sold in market in bags or in bulker as
ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT or OPC.
