area for 8 inch is 201.06 sq.inch
and for dia 16 804.24 sq.inch
804.24/4=201.06 but for 201.06 we are paying 300 & for 804.24 we need to pay 1200 but we paying amount of 900 so discount is 25%

Start it with calculation as an Area of Circle , use Area = Pi* (Radius)^2
Then, First case: When Diameter is 8 and radius would be 4 (i.e. Diameter/2)
Then, Area would be 16*Pi ----(i)
Similarly, In case when Diameter is 16 and radius would be 8
Then, Area would be 64*Pi --- (ii)
Now, by unitary method :
16*Pi ------ 300 Rs
1 ---------- 300/(16*Pi) Rs
Similarly for (ii) equation
64*Pi ------ 900 Rs
1 ---------- 900/(64*Pi) Rs (= 225/16*Pi)
Now, to calculate Discount percent we use formula as below :
((Initial-Final)/Initial )*100
((300/(16*Pi) -225/(16*Pi))/300/(16*Pi))*100
On cancelling denominator and subtraction, we get
(75/300)*100=25%
Ans: 25%

If 16 inch pizza cost 900 then 8 inch should cost 450 but he got it for 300 means 150 rs is profit so
150 is what percentage of 450? 450*x=150 which is 33.33% profit or discount.
