The unit of capacitance is Farad. Rightly or wrongly 1 Farad is a massive amount of capacitance, often used by Audio enthusiasts in motor vehicles to stablise power. The typical capacitors used in mobile phones, computers, TV and radio equipment are typically 1 millionth (micro) or even less nano Farads and pico Farads. Sure a kilo Farad or a mega Farad is possible, but arguably would have no sensible application outside EW systems.
