As a team lead, I would handle the situation as follows:n
1. Document all instances of unprofessional behavior by the problematic employee.
2. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to discuss their performance and address any concerns.
3. Provide clear expectations for professional behavior, along with feedback and coaching.
4. If necessary, implement a performance improvement plan (PIP) detailing specific goals and actions to be taken by the employee.
5. Monitor progress closely and provide ongoing support.
6. In case of continued unprofessional behavior, follow your company's disciplinary policy which may involve verbal warnings, written warnings, or in extreme cases, termination.
