sanity testing
Performance testing
Functionality testing
Network testing
compatiblity testing
Regression testing
Interruption testing(SMS,MMS,Charger insertion)

Mobile testing is a bit different coz although it depends
on the type of application.
-For normal applications and games crash, memory usage and
GUI are important.
-One should test the behaviour of the application for
SMS,incoming calls,Power on/off,battery removal and
Alarm/reminders.
-Then network connections Wi-fi/wireless should also be
checked.

Handset can be tested by launching different application
like SMS, MMS, audio, video playback, games. Feature
intereaction cases can be done in order to ensure the
stability of application. user interface can be tested by
invoking different menu option in some of application,
theryby GUI can be tested.
Performance can be tested under low battery condition.

Hand set testing can be classify in 2 parts
APPLICATIONs (GUI) TESTING
1. Testing on Main screen complete GUI
2. Applications and Games
3. Interaction and Interruption testing.
4. Performance testing
NETWORK TESTING
1. Functional testing eg SMS, MMS, Usage etc.
2. Regression testing
3. Call testing (In/out, voicemail, forward,
reminders, Alarms, Durations….
4. Signal and its strength testing(Power on/off).
5. Data flow in OTA,BT,IF and WLAN
6. Configuration Capacity (storage capacity)
7. Performance testing.

Mobile Application is noting but we have test the behavior
of application like
Sending SMS, Email, Remainder, receiving calls, Dialing
call.
Call Duration with sec, Date and Calendar.
Delete the number
Enter First Name, Second Name, Number etc.
