- Test Requirements Document (TRD): Provides high-level testing objectives.
- Test Plan (TP): Describes the approach for executing tests and provides details like scope, resources, and schedule.
- Test Cases (TCs): Detailed descriptions of test scenarios, inputs, expected results, and any specific preconditions or postconditions. These TCs can be derived from the TRD and TP. The documents are usually provided by Project Managers, Technical Leads, or Business Analysts."
3) A Database Test Case (DBTC) is a detailed description of a test scenario that focuses on validating database functionality. It includes specific steps to execute the test, expected results, and any preconditions or post-conditions necessary for the test's execution.
