relief v/v is used to save the system from excessive
pressure that will automatically open when pressure exceeds
its set value.
Pressure reducing v/v is used to reduce the pressure per
requirement and it is not auto.

Pressure reducing valve will control or reduce the pressure on the downstream.It may not have any drain port, but it should accompany a pressure relief valve on the upstream.


Pressure relief valve will only provide safety of the upstream sytem. This must have a drain port leading the tank.

yes......!!!!!!!!! we can use instead of relief valve so that pressure can be low so dat we can maintain low pressure throughout the entire process and helps in maintaining the required pressure per unit area.....
