The medium use for the analysis of aldehyde & ketone is
pyridine
in methanolic medium there is formation of ketal of ketone

1) DMF or 2) pyridine
because if you are use methanol, this sample is not form a
water molecule with methanol so use of pyridine or Dimethyl
Formamide.
