In Metrics Editor Goto->Dimensionality->add attribute as Target and keep Grouping and Filtering as NONE.
This is the way to point a metric to use particula table.

This can be acheived by decreasing the logical size of the
desire table in a such a way that it should be less than
other tables. AS Microstrategy will look the tale having
the least logical size and will make a join with that table.

While defining Dimensionality (Level) of the metric mention
Target as the fact based on that specific table and set the
filtering to 'Absolute'.
