Actually it is not migration.This is upgradation.
Procedure is
1) Deploy the CRN Reports(means export the reports).
2) Place the Export zip folder into Cognos8 Server.
3) Import the zip folder to Cognos8 environment.
Before importing we have to publish the package from
Framework Modeling.
1)Open the CRN FM in C8 FM.
2)Test the data sources and verify model.
3)Publish package.
Now package and reports are available in c8 envirionment.
Then U can continue on ur reports in C8 series.

According to my knowledge
By Using RSUpgrade Command it is possible.
First copy the reportnet report, and paste into the cognos8
location in bin directory.
Then open the command prompt
type RSUpgrade crn.xml c8.xml
here crn.xml is reportnet report name and
c8.xml is cognos8 reportname.
So, This is the procedure.

1: REQUEST THE DBA PERSON TO TAKE A BACKUP OF THE ENTIRE
CONTENT STOREAND GIVE SAME PASSWORD AND USERNAME.
2: STOP THE REPORTNET SERVICES AND START THE COGNOS8 SERVICES
3: THESE TABLES ARE CREATED USING PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE
COGNOS AND WILL SHOW AN ICON "UPGRADE" AND COGNOS8 WILL
UPGRADE THE TABLES

we are in a trail to create a crosstab with rolling months as columns,i mean we have a crosstab with LOB as rows and loan amount as measure,coming to the main problem we have to create dynamically changing column in the columns of the crosstab.The requirement is ...we must have two dynamic columns like feb 08 and feb07.For example if current date is feb 28,we have to get the loan amount from 1st of feb to 27 of feb 2008 as feb08 and loan amount from 1st of feb to 27th of feb 2007 as feb07 columns.Please suggest us the possible way....thanks in advance....
