Hi,
As the part of general awareness and general english was
comparatively tough this time, the merit is expected
between 110-120 for general candidates for CGL 2010 tier 1.

Guyz how is it possible in this world that 1 lakh people
will get more than 140 in Tier-1.They have to select 1 lakh
for tier-1..matlab 1/3 of people appearing.And this data is
available on SC website ki last time 2 lakh people appeared
and they called 64k for tier-2.Considering these facts,I
expect around 1 lakkh calls this year as the seats have
increased.Last time 100 was the cut off.So it can not go
beyond that this year.What I think is 95-100.Baki fingers
crossed..

cutoff will b between 100-110.and there is no sectional cut
off ...if u r sure of getting this start 4 tier ii else
study hard for next prelims

HI... FRIENZ ...cut of marks FOR SSC TIER 1 is difficult to
calculate as ssc has not disclosed any such criteria for ths
exam..in my opinion it wil not go beyond 120 for general
candidates as questions were bit difficult ths
time..sectional cut of is 40 percent as per my
knowledge..after analysing all d aspects i can say if smbody
has done more than 20 questions in each section n 120 in all
sud start preparin for tier 2 examination..satish aur ashma
ka kehna b sahi hai...all d vry best to all of u....

the cut off marks for ssc tier 1 exam will be approx. 110
because this time we had english and g.k. was also quite
good.

In my Opinion cutt off for SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be as
under
General 105-110
OBC 100-105
SC/ST 97
Means 105 marks will be sufficient to quailify for Tier-II
exam.

REGARDING CUTOFF THERE MIGHT BE 1 POSSIBLITY THAT 2ND SHIFT
EXAM WAS QUIT TOUGH THATS WHY CUTOFF MAY LOWERS DOWN.CUTOFF
WILL BE THE MEAN OF BOTH THE SHIFT.
