friends i have seen the results of ssc cgl 2008 the cut off
that i saw was unreserved category is 100 the person name is nitin garg from unreserved category got 100 marks in ssc cgl pre 2008 and selected for central excise officer

EVERY OTHER TIMES THE CUTOFF WAS BETN 120-125 BUT THIS TIME
WE HAD ENGLISH SECTION THATS WHY CUT OFF MAY RISE BCOZ ONE
CAN GET EXTRA TIME TO DO OTHER SECTIONS BY FINISHING
ENGLISH EARLIER.BCOZ ENGLISH HARDLY TOOK 20 MINS TO
FINISH.BUT LAST YEAR WE'VE GOT 100 MATHS QUES. DUE TO WHICH
CUTOFF WAS LOWER.

hi all,
cgl tier-1 morning session exam was fine. though english
section was bit tough. there are sectional cut off as well
as overall cut off as per the notification . result is
expected in the last week of june.
overall 7,50,000 approx candidates have
responded to the notification as per the ssc official news.i
am not sure as how many have written the exam.
this time cut-off will be difficult to determine
as cgl has subsumed lot many exams for different post(ex:tax
assistant, cpo's,etc) under it,which are not part of cgl
before. so if any candidate who gave preference to all post,
has possibility of clearing the teir-1 even at the lowest
cut-off, b'coz cpo's,tax assistant require good no of
candidates for physical efficiency test for cpo's and typing
test for tax assistant. which many will disqualify in these
test.
hope for the best.

The qualifying cut off for the ssc graduate level tier 1 is
expected to be between 85-100 for UR category. For other
categories it might be even lesser.

I am selected as multi tasking staff by SSC and posted to Income Tax dept.I saw the result on October 2011. when will I get Office order. What are departmental exams can I write. and when I can write the exams. After conformation of during probation period.What are the exams available to me.

hi guys ..i have given the ssc chsl data entry and ldc exam in november 2010...i was curious what are my chances of getting selected with a score of 75+ %(154 out of 200).and i have a speed of 31 wpm in typing...so what do you guys think will be the qualifying standards(minimum is set at 35 wpm)...i am from general category...tahnks in advance...please reply this is my 1st exam....9582035632

Hi , I am looking for ssc combined matric preliminary exam papers but haven`t got one till now.also i`m looking forother papers of ssc.can u suggest some site where I can get upto 10 or even 2-3 yrs old papers of ssc.just like we have sites or groups dedicated to upsc don`t we have any sites or groups for ssc.if any, plz suggest I would definitely love to join it?waiting for reply…………
