Hi,
Where was it? which city?
As per my knowledge, the interviews which were scheduled on
17th April by Infy were to be closed on the same day. ie
they would take both the technical round and HR round on
the same day. If you are through in technical round, then
they would ask you to go for HR round.
Since you were asked to wait for 7-10 days for the next
round, may be they have kept u as a buffer or could be that
they were short of time.
Dont be confused, all you need to do is, call up the HR
Infy from whom you would have got the email. They will tell
you whether you are selected/ rejected or OnHold.

All the Best!
