in case of fault enormous amout of heat is generated in the
main tank which decompose the oil as a result of which
gases are produced. When the gases travel from main tank to
conservator tank they causes the float of buchholz relay to
be inverted which in result makes the tripping contacts and
thus causes the breaker to be tripped.

Buchholz relay is used for Transformer Internal faults, bcoz
of over load or internal faults more heat will produce it
decomposes the oil and produces the gas and because of
transformer insulation gas will produce and it will try
move from main tank to conservator bcoz it is light in
weight then alarm float will operate and gives the alarm if
it exceeds then tripping float will operate and trip the
Breaker of Transformer.

In power Transformer Gases form so before putting
Transformer in service we have to release that gases & LET
OIL SHOULD come to conservater tank for safe operation ,if
it is not do so and if you give supply to the transformer
Buckoltz relay gets trip & it provide safety to Transformer.

difference between relay and solenoid?
Why the Transformer connection is changing in different transformer?(Like Star & Delta,Delta & Delta,Star & Star,Delta Star) From that connection where it is used?
why do transformer humm ??????????
I have tow 200 KVA UPS, both are in parallel mode.My question is that, both are running on battery when power fail, if one of them fail (Eg rectifire fails or some other reason), at thet time reverse power will come to faild ups if it comes then it will harm to failed ups or not? if not then how it protects to faied ups????????????????
in a solar power plant,we are going to step up the voltage 350V to 33kv, and to 132kv GSS. i want to ask that if it is possible that 315v/33kv is not possible because we also use 315v/11kv. or it should be 415v/33kv? is it effects generation or losses? the second question is-generation is depends on LV winding? or LV winding design for generation voltage?
