Grow the culture on MacConkey agar. Gram positive bacteria
does not grow on this media, as it contains bile salt and
it is a selective media for Gram negative bacteria.

KOH Test:
place a loopful culture in 3% KOH on a clean slide, stir for
1 min and observe for string formation. The the gram
positive bacteria forms strings while gram negative not.
