In water tube boilers - there is no fusible plug and there
is a safety valve. In fire tube boilers it may be there and
material will be lead (less melting point than steel)
Boiler pressure parts shall confirm upto 420 deg c in
carbon steel confirming to ASME A106 Gr. B, for
applications more than 420 to 480 Deg C it shall be ASME
A335 Gr.P1 or P11 and more than than it will be P22, P91
etc. structures shall confirm to IS 2062 Grade B

Melting tem.of the boiler fusible plug is 550 degri centigred manufatur fusible plug is.steel cache.zink high tem.

the metal which has lowest melting pointing is used in
fusible plug.lead is mostly used and i think the melting
temp is around 700 deg.
the metal used for manufacturing boiler is steel.since it
has good corrosion resistance
