generally seismic loads are lateral loads the axial rigidity
of slab is very high so deformation of slab is very
less.while that of beams and columns are more.

the thickness of slab is very small as compare to beam
or in other word, the moment of inertia of slab(along z
direction) is very small. and no resistance is occurs. hence
we take only basic load combination for calculating span
moment .

carried by shear walls
