what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / srinivas

integrator accumulates the value
therefore the o/p will be a linear line of the form y=mx+c
where c=initial vtg on integrator

Answer / jitendra agrawal

the transfer function of integrator is (1/s) if u integrate
this over a time period of infinity then we will get a ramp
wave whose transfer function is (1/s^2)

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / sattar

the output of the integrator will be a ramp signal with
slope (-)/(+) 1/Rc ,where Rc is the time constant of the
integrator. It will continue to be in ramp nature, until it
goes to saturation stage.

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / raj chakraborty

ans: ramp signal.

unit step signal is given as,
u(t)=1,for t>=0.
now integrate this function_____over 0 to t;
this will give you,
t-------as integrated value(which is ramp signal)

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / krishna

by considering time constant equal to 1,then apply input as
unit step signal as input.here integration of unit signal is
ramp signal.so we get output as ramp signal

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / jitendra kandpal

ans is ramp fn with constant slope
integration of u(t)= 1/s*(laplace transform of u(t))
= 1/s*1/s=1/s^2
by taking inverse laplace transform i.e= r(t) (ramp function)

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / saidesh kumar

when we integrate a constant w.r.t a variable we get the
same variable as output. so unit step integration gives ramp
as the output.Integrator is simply a low pass filter.

exponential settling to the value 1...this is the voltage
rise across the capacitor as it charges

what happen when unit step signal is applied to a integrater circuit.explain with graph..

Answer / vivek

when unit step signal is applied to a
integrater circuit,we will gaet a triangular wave.since we
know, integration of constant becomes one degree equation.
