The Internet Protocol (IP) is a protocol used for
communicating data across a packet-switched internetwork
using the Internet Protocol Suite, also referred to as
TCP/IP.
Intellectual property (IP) is a term referring to a number
of distinct types of creations of the mind for which
property rights are recognised--and the corresponding
fields of law.
IP also means Information Processing, Image Processing,
Internet Provider, Industrial Property, International Paper
and so on.
