why Current conduction through electron?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / soumya
Every material is made up of atoms. In an atom electrons are
present outside the nucleus and with supply of energy it is
easier to remove the outermost electron. Electrons are the
charge carriers. So current conduction is through
electrons.Even holes are the absence of electron and
produced due to shift of electron to an electron defficient
atom. Therefore current conduction is through electron.

Electrons are negatively charged and they have the nature
of moving so current conduction is through electron only.

Answer / tribhuvan
Because electrons have charge of 1.6*10^(-19)C and also
have mobility .the electrons move only when they got free
space and they got free space when some impurities are
added so when electrons move they also take charge with them
and the moving charge give birth to current.
ANY PURE THING CANNOT CONDUCT CURRENT

Answer / arvind yadav
since good conductors have free electrons and if we see the
atomic model electrons are only the moving particles so
conduction takes place through electrons this is true for n-
type and p-type semiconductors also.
