For HT tran. high winding & oil temp. alarm with triping
portection must be there. And Buchholz relay triping also
necessary. Addition to that Over current, earth fault realy
must be there.

If the transformer is below 1000KVA, for the HT side
protection AB switch and HG Fuse must be used and for the LT
side protection ACB/OCB must be used.
If the transformer is above 1000KVA, for the HT side
protection VCB/ACB must be used and for the LT side
protection ACB/OCB must be used.
