power can be generated at various Hz, but reason is
equipement are designed for 50 hz and starting itself we
following that frequency of generation(from british
peroid).Changing frequency will affect loads and
equipments.

frequency=(no of poles x speed)/120
no. of pole is cnstant.
by varying speed we can change the frequency.
in india 50Hz is used.
in Canada,Antigua,Bermuda,Colombia,Brazil,Cuba,Mexico etc. 60Hz is used.

Freq. can be changed easally but fixing this value to 50
or 60 Hz is very important to design the
generators ,transmission control and end ueser equipments.

is 50hz hence as the freq increase more than 50 is better

is maximum in our india
from the fomula
frequancy= (no. of poles*speed)/120
where the no. of the poles is constant

when we can do this, as u say, then why we dont do this.
because it is said that efficiency increases on increasing
frequency. plz help me out
