Answer / sumit garg
THE transformer output is nothing & it will get damaged
because transformer do not work on DC . The reason is
transformer give o/p through mutual induction when DC
voltage is applied no emf will induced in secondry wdg.

Answer / arjunbel
the output will be zero because there is no mutual
induction taking place as in ac but the coils of primary
will get burn instead.
in case if input is pulsating dc output is available

Answer / adesh
IN THE DC THERE IS NO VARAITION IN THE CURRENT OF PRIMARY
SO NO FLUX IS LINK WITH SECONDARY AND OUT PUT IS ZERO

Answer / mahendra patil.(det)
The action of
transformer is possible
only with ac supply
bec. Alternating flux
generated by it in
primary links with
secondary. But when
dc applied to it the
primary winding gets
saturation it only may
be damaged. We cant
get any type of o/p.
