When current is high then current density become constant.
You can calculate bus bar size by taking current density 1
J=I/S where j is current density, I current & s cross
section.
Then you can calculate size.

if you know the fault level of that area.
then you should find short circuit current.
if you find that then your busbar should be design for that
much short circuit current.
suppose your fault level is 25 ka & then your short circuit
current is 1500 amp. then your busbar should stand safe at
25 ka for 1 or 2 sec until your breaker tripped.
