One line difference between embedded systems and PC is
embedded systems are made to perform certain task(s) while
PCs or Desktops(Laptops) are made to run anything on it like
audio, video, simulation, visual c++ studio, you can run any
application on PCs while you can not on embedded system.
Cell phone is embedded system because you can not install
any application on it. Few phones are capable to install
small application but not all.
Got it.. :)
