Answer / raju
Because plant on respiration gives co2, because the absence
of light. If light is present the released co2 is again
absorbed in the process of photosynthesis. So in nights if
we sleep under big trees we do not have sufficient amount of
oxygen.

During the day, in presence of sunlight, the plants use up
the CO2 and release O2 as a byproduct. But during night they
are unable to use the CO2 and this leads to increase in the
proportion of CO2 in the air.During night the trees breathe
in oxygen and release carbon-dioxide.If one sleeps under
the trees, the amount of increased CO2 in the air around
will certainly affect the health. So it is inadvisable to
sleep under trees during night.

It is not advisable to sleep under a tree at the night because trees undergo respiration in the night and release carbon dioxide because of the dark reaction taking place in the chloroplasts. In the daytime, the chloroplasts are under
Some trees release oxygen in nights too, like Peepal or Buddha(i, don't know English name).
There may be some superstitions everywhere. A ghost or anything else sleep on trees in night.going photosynthesis due to which oxygen is released with the intake of carbon dioxide.

Answer / ansh sharma
ONE SHOULD NOT SLEEP UNDER TREES AT NIGHT BECAUSE AT NIGHT RATE OF RESPIRATION IN PLANTS IS HIGHER AS COMPARED TO PHOTOSYNTHESIS WHICH OCCURS DURING THE DAY IN PRESENCE OF SUNLIGHT.
SO DURING NIGHT CO2 IS GIVEN OUT BY PLANTS AND BY WE HUMAN BEINGS ALSO, WHICH ADDS TO THE AMOUNT OF CO2 IN THE SURROUNDINGS AND THE EXCESS OF WHICH MAY FORM CARBON MONOXIDE,WHICH WHEN INHALED MAY PROVE FATAL.

A general principle tells us that our body requires oxygen for almost all metabolic processes. This oxygen is primarily supplied to us by trees. Trees produce oxygen during the photochemical phase of photosynthesis ( by the photolysis of water). However the absence of light at night makes it almost impossible for trees to carry out photosynthesis. Thus their respiratory processes dominate over photosynthetic ones. Trees then give out more carbon dioxide and negligible oxygen. A person sleeping under a tree doesn't get adequate amount of oxygen as both of them give out carbon dioxide. This may prove harmful for the person.
It must be noted that according to recent studies of biochemistry and photosynthetic processes we come to know that there us more carbon dioxide in our rooms than there us under a tree. So, we can also say that it is just due to some insects or unwanted creatures that such practices are avoided. To be more precise the above theory us not very widely accepted.
