When a field input to plc is coming from 400 to 600 meters
and the input is in 24 V DC? So signal cable of which cross
section i should select for proper signal to plc?

you can use 0.5 Sq mm shieled for analog .....Upto 600 m no
problem ....but generally as per standerds above 500m you
will have to go with Fibre optic cable

For this type of circuit, use Relay output instead of
direct driving through the PLC output. As these SOV's are
not the low power wattage, Prefer to use 2.5 Sq.mm as a
general for such digital output.Relay contact shall be
selected accordingly.

as per the 1cm3 core wire will be find also check the
current require then as per the current if it is higher
than you can carry but if current is low then you need to
use the repeater for that.

yes gaurav kale is right about 0.5 sq.mm twisted pair
shielded cable but u have to install repeater to make sure
theres no degrading of the signal at the end.

It is all depends on the Load of the Field Instrument.
After Getting the load apply the Voltahe Drop Formula.
Also the input is 24VDC but define the Amp. is it 20A/ 10A.
that is 24Vdc 10A.
For 24VDC 10A Power supply and the Field Instrument is SOV
with 18 Watts, and the Distance is 600 meter then use the 2
Core 2.5 Sqmm Cable as per below Formula.
% Voltage Drop = Length X Current X R Cos0 + X sign0 /
Number of run X Voltage X 10.

A PLC is programmed to drive three motors A, B and C as follows : After running motor A for an hour, motor B should get ON and motor A should get OFF. And after running motor B for an hour, motor C should get ON and motor B should get OFF. And after running motor C for an hour, motor A should get ON and motor C should get OFF. (That is, a cyclic repetition with time period one hour) Now, the second condition is: If any motor gone faulty and is tripped, the consecutive motor should get ON and the faulty (tripped) motor should be eliminated from cyclic repetition. The remaining two motors should bear the cyclic repetition of one hour each. (For healthy motor take logic as high and for tripped motor take logic as low) Now, the third condition is: When motor A load(Amps) exceeds 60% of its rated load, motor B should get ON in parallel to motor A. And when both motors A & B are running in parallel, and if their load exceeds 60% of their rated load, motor C should also start in parallel to A & B. [Here the cyclic repetition is eliminated, until their loads become normal(40%)] [Take logic high(1) for load at 60% and logic low(0) for load at 40%] Now draw a flow chart or a ladder diagram to fulfill the above condition.
